My Story
I’ve always been someone who wants to understand the why behind things. Why we think the way we do. Why certain experiences stay with us. Why two people can walk through something similar and carry it so differently.
That curiosity eventually led me to therapy, but my understanding of it grew in a more personal way. There was a season when I felt like I was falling behind—that I should have been further along, doing more, or somewhere different by then. It took some honest reflection, a few unexpected turns, and the support of people who reminded me to slow down and look at my story differently. I began to realize that maybe life isn’t something we have to get “right.” Maybe it’s something we learn to live, one chapter at a time.
That realization stayed with me when I entered the therapy room. I saw how often people were carrying difficult circumstances while also carrying the belief that they should be handling them better. And I kept thinking about how different things might feel if we could meet ourselves with a little less judgment and a little more grace.
That’s part of what brought Evolve with Grace Therapy to life. A reminder that there is no finish line we have to reach before we are allowed to be proud of where we are. We can grow without rushing ourselves. We can change without becoming someone else. And we can begin again, right where we are.
Philosophy
♡ Growth is not a race.
There is no universal timeline for healing, changing, or figuring life out.
♡ Curiosity opens doors.
Sometimes the most meaningful shifts begin when we stop asking, “What’s wrong with me?” and start asking, “What’s happening here?”
♡ Small things can change big things.
Change often begins quietly—in a conversation, a boundary, a different response, or one small choice.
♡ You can hold yourself accountable without holding yourself hostage.
Growth asks us to be honest about what isn’t working while still offering ourselves compassion.
♡ You don’t have to become someone else.
Therapy isn’t about creating a new version of you. It’s about making more room for the person you already are and the life you want to live.
♡ Grace belongs in the process.
To me, grace means meeting you and your story with kindness, curiosity, and respect—especially when things feel messy.
